Privacy Policy

So, this is my privacy policy. To the extent that you interact with these pages, I am Data Controller, individually or sometimes jointly if you interact with LinkedIn, Facebook or other tags, and, by the virtue of the fact that this is a WordPress site, with WordPress too.

So that means that some of your personal data will be processed by this site, me, and jointly, with at least WordPress. It also means that, if you are browsing from the EU your data is being processed in the UK, and in other non-EU jurisdictions. Click here for more information about how WordPress treats your data.

WordPress may also share some of your data with third parties for advertising purposes, and provides social link tools to platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook. Other than through those links, I won’t share your data further. Nor will I badger you with emails or other forms of contact, unless you would like me too (in which case contact me and say so).

Your data is processed based on legitimate interest (insofar as you are browsing this site and it’s nice to know a little bit about you), consent, where you supply information, and consent where you interact with elements like cookie banners and like or share buttons or elements with similar functionality (which are supplied via WordPress).

The data processed may consist of:

• Your name and any contact details supplied by you in the course of interactions with the page, and any opinions or other information that you submit (which will persist until you ask for them to be removed, or remove them yourself);
• Technical identifiers that may be collected by WordPress via cookies and similar technologies, which are subject to the relevant third party’s policies;
• (Hopefully that’s about it).

The technical security measures in place are those provided for by WordPress; no data is or will be downloaded onto an end-user device (what would be the point?).
